Frequently Asked Questions

You can order by telephone (800-893-8902)... or use the website and get telephone assistance. Call from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. central time and speak directly with a customer service representative and she (he) will walk you through the various options; and if you have access to the internet will walk you through the process of uploading your photo. If you'd rather send that photo file (or an actual photo print) to us directly, the CSR will explain exactly how to do that as well as take your payment and shipping information.

Getting great prints is easy. Here are few tips to improve your results:

Keep the file in the RGB color mode from start to finish. Changing that mode to cmyk or other settings will cause your file to lose color information we need. Save your file as a JPG and choose either "high" or "maximum" as your image quality option when you save your file.

RESOLUTION (expressed as DPI) affects print quality. Especially for large prints, acquire the largest file your camera can acquire. When you open that image in Photoshop, set the dpi to 150 at the finished size the print will be. If you are concerned about type or fine details of your print, one of our graphic artists can take a look at your file and can advise you of the best resolution for your file.

As long as you keep your file in RGB your Photoshop color profile is not a critical item affecting print quality. (It matters much more if we were printing your file on a digital press in cmyk -- but we’re using a top quality 9-color ink jet device.)

If you’d like the image you see on your screen match the image we see on ours you can download our Photoshop profile file by clicking on the link here and then importing that into your Photoshop program.

If you’d like minor color correction and would prefer our graphic technicians do this, let us know and we’ll make adjustments for skin tones or other issues.

After you've ordered your print(s) -- and received your confirmation email (which should happen in minutes) -- Canvas by Blossom will open your files and review them. Then (typically within 24 hours) print your file and begin after-coating the canvas. On the second business day in our shop we will stretch your canvas and complete the gallery wrap. If we are running at or near capacity your production time could run to three in-house business days. Rarely would production times exceed that three business day time frame.

You can rush your shipping method directly on the website. If you have an exceptional ship date requirement you can call and speak with a Customer Service Rep and she (he) will see what options might be available at that time. We will certainly do everything within our power to meet your need.

Our "standard" shipping is FedEx ground and it ships from Blooming Prairie, MN -- zip 55917.

We generate a FedEx tracking number when your product ships and we email that tracking number to you.

You can call us (not email or other) as soon as you know you want to make a change. Where ever we are in the production process we will stop your project and either cancel it (if that's your wish) or redo it the way you've changed it. You will be charged for work performed; credited for work not yet performed.

We save digital files for up to one year; they are saved by both your original file name and by your account name. You can order a reprint (or reprints) without re-uploading your file(s) by emailing or calling us and identifying which files to replay and which size and edge treatment you want for the wrap (you can change this from the original run).
